Fall Trend: Oxblood Lips and Nails

Who else is excited about the Oxblood trend for this Fall?  Although we have seen oxblood lipstick in previous seasons, it seems as though it is in full effect for Fall 2013.  Some may be pretty intimidated to wear such a deep and bold color but almost every complexion can pull it off without the fear of it clashing.  It is really all about the attitude you bring forth while wearing it because it does take a confident woman to wear this color so that it doesn't wear them.  Another trend that is making a comeback is the 1950's fashion statement with matching your lip color to your nail color which was popularized by Revlon way back then.  Pair your oxblood nail and lip color with a bare eye and defined brows for sophisicated and modern look great for the an evening of cocktails or even a board presentation to give you that extra edge.

Wet 'N Wild Cherry Bomb
At only $1.99, this lipstick is the most affordable while still packing in a lot of pigment.  A part of the Wet 'N Wild's Matte collection, this lipstick as a lot of staying power without being too dry and cakey.  When layered on top of your favorite lip balm, this lipstick gives you that deep oxblood color while still giving you a bit of sheen.

Revlon Black Cherry
Revlon always has superb lip products and is a definitely go-to when I am in the drugstore.  A part of the Revlon's Super Lusterous line, this lipstick is packed with a lot of moisturizers to keep lips looking healthy and hydrated while still leaving a lot of color on your lips.
